German manufacturer Kugler-Womako has developed an alternative to metal and plastic spiral binding that offers unique marketing possibilities.

EcoBinder features 100 percent recyclable, paper-based binding, which can save at least 50 percent in binding material costs compared to traditional wire binding. Each paper binding ring can be custom-printed with a full-color design, such as a corporate logo, slogan or photo, that is visible at all times.

The second generation EcoBinder also boats faster production speeds. The higher productivity rate means investments can be paid off more quickly – ideal for smaller print shops and bookbinders.
