Press release submitted on behalf of Taktiful
Taktiful announced today the launch of The Taktisphere, a first-of-its-kind global community built exclusively for the digital print embellishment ecosystem. Designed for printers, designers, brands, and OEMs, The Taktisphere provides a dedicated home for education, collaboration, and professional connection around one of the fastest-growing and most strategically important segments of the print industry.

Digital embellishments have moved beyond novelty. Foils, textures, varnishes, and tactile effects are now central to differentiation, margin, and brand impact. Yet until now, the industry has lacked a focused place where the people designing, selling, producing, and enabling embellishments could learn from one another in a meaningful way.
The Taktisphere was created to fill that gap.
“For years, embellishments have lived on the edges of broader print conversations,” said Eric Vessels, Chief Experience Officer at Taktiful. “At the same time, they have quietly become one of the most powerful tools in print. The Taktisphere exists because this space has outgrown being a side topic.”
Unlike general social platforms or traditional print forums, The Taktisphere is purpose-built around the real-world realities of digital embellishment. The community brings together designers who want to push creative boundaries, printers who want to sell and scale high-value work, OEMs who want to better support users, and brands looking to create more memorable print experiences
At launch, The Taktisphere will offer:
- Regular topic based virtual meetups
- Industry-led educational sessions focused on design, production, and business strategy
- Open community discussions across estimating, pricing, workflow, and sales enablement
- Early access to training programs and certification initiatives
- A collaborative environment for sharing work, ideas, and practical experience
To celebrate the launch, anyone who joins during the opening window receives a “Founding Member” badge on their profile. That badge will unlock secret account-level perks over time, including early access opportunities and special recognition as the community grows.
The opening window closes on March 17. To become a founding member, use this link
“The Taktisphere is where education meets community,” Vessels added. “It’s not about hype. It’s about real conversations between people doing the work. Designers learning what is possible. Printers learning how to sell and price it. OEMs listening to the market. Brands learning how tactile print drives engagement and value.”
The community builds on Taktiful’s broader ecosystem of training, research, and software solutions dedicated to digital embellishments, and is supported by deep relationships across printers, designers, OEMs, and industry organizations. The Taktisphere was first introduced publicly at PRINTING United Expo, where early interest pre-confirmed the demand for a focused embellishment community.
Additional programming, partnerships, advisory initiatives, and certifications will roll out throughout the year.
Advisory Council
To help guide the community and keep it grounded in real-world experience, The Taktisphere is supported by an Advisory Council made up of leaders from across the embellishment ecosystem. Council members provide input on community priorities, learning tracks, and event themes, ensuring The Taktisphere stays practical, relevant, and aligned with where the market is heading.
