Grandville Printing Company Buys Rollem Insignia7HPlus Die-Cutter

Press release submitted on behalf of Grandville Printing

GRANDVILLE PRINTING COMPANY (GPC) located in Grandville, MI recently received installation and training on a new Insignia7HPlus Die-Cutter to expand their Packaging and Retail products offering.

Founded in 1956 in Grandville, Michigan, GPC has grown into one of the Midwest’s largest commercial print solutions providers—serving clients nationwide with high-volume printing, omni-channel marketing, and innovative fulfillment.

The company offers some packaging services for its commercial print customers but recognizing the opportunity in the folding carton, and retail shelf market they wanted the ability to offer an even greater variety of products.

“We investigated the Insignia models at many trade shows and talked with their product manager for in-depth explanations on the machine operations. We were impressed with the production-built design of the Insignia as well as the ability to perform multiple processes in one step including die-cutting, perforating, creasing and automatic matrix removal. Another feature that appealed to us was the PLUS Control, a touch screen for set-ups, adjustments, static or variable batching and other features adding to the ease of machine operations,” states Bruce Beery, Lean Manufacturing and Equipment Specialist at GPC.

With our offset B2 presses as well as our HP Indigo’s 7k’s, the 30×24” sheet capacity of the IS7H was a natural fit.
