Taktiful today announced “Texture Titans Live: Where Paper, Print and Embellishment Unite,” the first live, in-person event hosted by the Taktisphere, Taktiful’s education and community platform for the digital print embellishment market.
Taking place at Taktiful House on Wednesday, June 17, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, the event will be held one hour before the FSEA Embellishment Conference opens for registration, creating a high-energy kickoff moment for the embellishment community.
Texture Titans Live will feature a live, in-person audience at Taktiful House and bring together leaders from Neenah, Scodix, and Konica Minolta for a practical, education-driven conversation about the “how” and “why” behind premium paper and embellishment. The session will spotlight digital papers from Neenah, with a focus on CLASSIC® Embellishment Papers, CLASSIC® Production Inkjet Papers, and the role of color, texture and premium papers in creating more compelling, higher-value print experiences.
“This is a milestone moment for the Taktisphere,” said Kevin Abergel of Taktiful. “We built the Taktisphere to educate, connect, and grow the embellishment market. Texture Titans Live brings that mission off the screen and into the room, with a live audience, real industry voices, and a conversation designed to help printers, brands, designers, and OEMs better understand what premium paper and embellishment can do together.”
The conversation will open with an overview of Neenah’s newest digital-focused papers: CLASSIC® Embellishment and CLASSIC® Production Inkjet. From there, the panel will move into a deeper discussion of how these papers perform across digital embellishment workflows, including Scodix and MGI environments, as well as production considerations for toner and inkjet applications.
The “how” portion of the roundtable will explore practical production topics: how printers integrate CLASSIC® Embellishment into real workflows, what operators should understand before running premium stocks, where embellishment creates new opportunities, and what alternate processes such as laminating, underprinting, toner, and sleeking may offer when embellishment is not the selected path.
The “why” portion will focus on brand impact with a conversation around why paper choice matters, why uncoated and textured stocks can elevate a brand story, and how color, texture, and tactile response influence the perceived value and ROI of printed communication.
Featured participants include Jason Leonard and Michele Pistone of Neenah, Natalie Stellato of Konica Minolta, and April Lytle of Scodix, with Taktiful providing moderation and live event production.
