IMPACK Upgrades Design of Ergosa Universal Packing Solution

IMPACK, Saint Jacques, Quebec, a leader in box packaging automation technologies, is pleased to announce design upgrades to their Ergosa semi-automatic packing solution making it more accessible, versatile, and efficient than ever before.

The Ergosa is renowned for its ability to automate critical packing movements while optimizing the ergonomic experience for operators. This reduces physical strain significantly, allowing packing personnel to increase speed. Such efficiency is crucial for production managers facing labor shortages.

What’s New with Ergosa?
IMPACK has refined the Ergosa design, enhancing the compatibility and interchangeability of its modules. These modifications not only increase the system’s flexibility to meet specific customer needs but also enable clients to start with a basic configuration and expand as their production evolves. To serve the needs of clients with limited space at the end of the folder-gluer, IMPACK will continue to offer a compact version of the Ergosa with the option of installation in-line or with a 90-degree turn prior to the case management module.

“This update makes the Ergosa a fully modular plug-and-play system, allowing us to more easily adapt to our client’s available floor space. Clients can enter the Ergosa eco system with a base configuration and see immediate improvement in productivity. With the Ergosa modular packer our clients get a comprehensive tailored solution at the price of a standard packer.” – Mathieu Tremblay, Deputy General Manager.

Retained Functionality
The Ergosa retains the key modules and specialized tooling that have defined the semi-automatic packer segment. The Ergosa continues to offer three main packing modes for optimized packing of any box type.

“Our commitment at IMPACK has always been to innovate in ways that make our clients’ production lines more efficient and make the operators’ jobs easier,” said Mathieu.
