FSEA Sourcebook, PostPress Win 2016 Gold Ink Awards

The Foil & Specialty Effects Association’s 2016 Sourcebook – “Dream the Embossable” – won a Bronze award in the 2016 Gold Ink Awards.
The FSEA Sourcebook won a Bronze award in the Gold Ink Awards’ Directories category.

The Foil & Specialty Effects Association (FSEA) has been recognized with a Bronze award in Printing Impressions‘ Gold Ink Awards. The award was given in the Directories category for the printing and production of the FSEA’s 2016 Sourcebook – “Dream the Embossable” – which promotes FSEA members’ products and services in an easily accessible guide.

The cover was designed by Peterson Publications’ Art Director Becky Arensdorf, produced on Sappi Fine Paper and foil stamped and embossed on a Bobst BMA and included a special textured UV coating performed on a Sakurai presses.

The February/March 2016 issue of PostPress magazine also picked up a Pewter award in the Magazine Covers category. The cover, also designed by Arensdorf, features a large Bing cherry with raised water droplets – a UV-coating effect produced on an offline screen coater with Sun Chemical’s SunInspire™ Emboss coatings. It was printed on a Komori press using Sappi Fine Paper.

This PostPress cover won a Pewter award in the Gold Ink Awards’ Magazine Covers category.
