Bobst Folder-Gluer Helps Set Box Production Record

First Co. for Industrial Development, Obour City, Egypt, has set two world records for box production with its BOBST FFG 8.20 DISCOVERY.

As one of BOBST’s latest flexo-folder-gluers, the FFG 8.20 DISCOVERY helped the company set a new productivity record in February 2018 for the number of square meters in a single eight-hour shift (62,811). A month later, the second FFG 8.20 DISCOVERY installed by First Co. beat the world record for the number of boxes produced in a single eight-hour shift (117,995 boxes).
