BOBST to Demonstrate at Labelexpo Americas

BOBST will demonstrate machines on two production lines at Labelexpo Americas to be held Sept. 25-27 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.

The M6 inline Digital Flexo line will spotlight the advantages of the unique Digital Flexo and Digital Automation workflow technology, including the REVO 7-color extended gamut printing. The M1 inline flexo press, in its latest IoT configuration, is the first mechanical shaft connected label press in the industry and brings the benefits offered by connectivity to the widest number of converters. Both presses will display the capabilities provided by their remote connectivity IoT features that exploit data to improve the production process, workflow and press room organization.

During the demonstrations, visitors will be able to view, in real time on a large screen next to the press, the production data available on the presenter’s mobile phone. Mouvent – the digital printing competence center of the Bobst Group – also will be at the BOBST booth during the exhibition, displaying the technology behind its range of digital UV and water-based label printers. Attendees will have the opportunity to take a close-up look at the Mouvent™ Cluster, which uses extremely compact and lightweight clusters instead of fixed size print bars by color, arranging them in a modular, scalable matrix. The result is one system that can be adapted for all substrates, of all widths, for all markets. Print samples will be available on the booth, and Mouvent staff will be on hand to answer questions.
