The Prism® P115

The Prism® P115, a new paper cutter from Colter & Peterson, Paterson, New Jersey, is loaded with the latest automation and state-of-the-art electronics technology.

It features a new slotless table and is equipped with a Microcut® 15” touchscreen. Microcut is a computerized backgauge system with nearly 35,000 worldwide installations. It can improve productivity by as much as 50 percent and can be used with any brand paper cutter ranging in size from 20-150”. Each Microcut system memorizes the cutting sequences so the backgauge can automatically position itself to deliver precise cuts to within 1/64 of an inch.
