The WD Manley Technology Center at Cleveland, Ohio-based Graphco.

Cleveland, Ohio-based Graphco recently celebrated 40 years of serving the printing industry with the opening of its WD Manley Technology Center. Named for Graphco’s founder Bill Manley, the 7,000 sq. ft. expansion to its headquarters showcases a full line-up of RMGT (Ryobi MHI Graphic Technology) Offset Presses, along with other key technology from industry leaders like Standard Horizon, CRON, Xitron, Inpro Special Cutters, MGI, Alwan Color and many other Graphco-provided products.

RMGT’s Flagship 9 Series Six Color with Coater press features Panasonic G3 LED-UV curing, RMGT’s Smart RPC simultaneous plate changing, SMART Insta.Color automated make-ready technology and full 16,000 SPH throughput. The press is equipped with the cost-saving Pamarco Sentinel Ink Management System. A complete line-up of prepress and finishing equipment also was featured throughout the two day event.

Rochester Institute of Technology’s latest print industry publication, The New Print Industry, also was produced during the event. Emphasizing the versatility of Graphco provided equipment, book blocks will be printed on an MGI DP8700XL+, the cover will be produced on the RMGT 9, and the Horizon BQ270C and the HT-30C will complete the perfect binding of the publication. A special “lay flat” version will be produced using the Sterling DigiPunch and CoilMaster equipment as well.
