Graphics of the Americas Reports Major Success
Exhibit space and attendance at the Graphics of the Americas Expo and Conference grew by 23- and 14-percent, respectively, over 2013 figures, according to data provided by the Printing Association of Florida, which hosted the conference.
Over 8,300 people from 70 countries attended GOA 2014 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, FL. Overall, 43 percent of attendees were international. More than 1,000 people participated in GOA’s educational programs, including 360 attending the Spanish-language seminars. The American Graphics Institute hosted 20 Digital Classroom Live seminars for prepress, production, digital printing, sales, marketing, management and wide format printing.
The first-ever Game Changer showcase at GOA 2014 honored manufacturers and developers that are building solutions that will have “lasting and positive efffect” on the industry. The following solutions were highlighted: HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press; Enfocus Connect ALL; Printware LLC iJetPress Digital Inkjet Printer with iJet Color Workflow; Nilpeter FB-3300 flexo-press; MGI Digital Graphic Technology JETvarnish 3D and JETvarnish 3D Twin w/iFoil; and Ricoh Critical Communications Solutions Suite.
