Graphics of the Americas Returns to Miami Beach
Now in its 39th year, the Graphics of the Americas Expo and Conference will return to the Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami Beach, FL, from Feb. 27 to March 1. Produced annually by the Printing Association of Florida, GOA is one of the graphic communications industrys largest annual combined expositions and conferences, attracting over 7,300 printers, designers and creative professionals from North America, Central America, South America, the Caribbean and all corners of the world.
The GOA website promotes the event as “THE place to discover new opportunities and learn what you can do to ensure you will be a long-term player in the new world of blended communications.” Live equipment demonstrations, an extensive tradeshow floor and educational sessions combine with peer-to-peer networking to offer an intense three-day opportunity to grow in the graphics industry. Topics addressed throughout the show include direct-to-substrate printing, wide format printing, vehicle wraps, cross-media marketing and new media publishing.
GOA also will offer more than 50 educational sessions, with educational tracks to include prepress and production, digital printing, sales and marketing, management and wide format. Nineteen seminars will be taught in Spanish to address the global audience. Attendees will include those in commercial printing, digital printing, wide format, flexo/label printing, graphic design, screen printing, specialty printers, bindery professionals and direct-to-substrate printers and decorators.
Show hours run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both Thurs., Feb. 27, and Fri., Feb. 28. On Sat., March 1, the exhibition floor will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Exhibitors of interest to the readers of InsideFinishing include the following:
