        SUBMITTED

        Rob Mauritz

Rob Mauritz, a 25-year veteran at LBS, Des Moines, Iowa, was named president and CEO of the company after longtime owner Fritz James announced his retirement. Mauritz has been the company’s president for the past two years.

James had led the company for 40 years – as owner and then CEO and chairman of the board following his sale of the company to employees in an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) in 2014. James has moved to an advisory role with the board as chairman emeritus.

The company comprises three divisions. LBS is a manufacturer and distributor of cover materials, endsheets, reinforcing materials and cover board to the book binding, packaging and stationery industries. Corporate Image is a manufacturer of custom printed ring binders, folders and boxes to corporations across the US. Archival Products manufactures preservation and conservation products for the nation’s most prestigious universities, libraries and museums.
