Rollem VOD System a Bridge Between High Volume, Low Quantity Production

        July 13, 2018

Rollem VOD System a Bridge Between High Volume, Low Quantity Production

        The Binding Edge

The Variable Output Delivery, from Rollem International, Anaheim, CA, is a smart batch-delivery system suited for high volume digital and variable data markets. It is ideal for production where the overall daily order volume is extremely high, but is made up of hundreds or thousands of small quantity orders such as greeting cards, photo prints, mailing pieces and business cards.

The VOD recognizes and separates orders from within large print runs. Located at the back of the Rollem finishing machine, which is cutting, scoring, perforating and strike pattern perforating, folding and gluing at very high rates of speed, the VOD will see the last piece of the previous order and will advance, thus separating one job from the next, allowing easy removal in batch required order. It also can allow for automated and online packaging processes to create a completely automated production line.

For more information, contact Rollem International at 800.272.4381 or www.rollemusa.com.
