Sakurai to Offer Open House

Sakurai, Schaumburg, Illinois, announced plans for its second Specialty Finishing Open House for IADD•FSEA Odyssey attendees, vendors and guests from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, at the Sakurai Headquarters.

The event, which includes refreshments, is being held on the evening prior to the opening of Odessey. Highlighting the Sakurai event will be UV specialty finishing applications over offset printed material, including spot raised UV clear/high-gloss, glitter and spot soft touch. These specialty finishes will be applied by a screen printing method at speeds ranging from 2,500-3,000iph. The demonstration also includes set-up and operation of a Sakurai Maestro MS-102AII cylinder screen press. Sakurai experts will be on hand to discuss the equipment, applications, as well as UV coatings, drying and curing solutions.
