Spiral Binding Acquires Lawrence Binding Systems

Spiral Binding Co. (Spiral), Totowa, New Jersey, has acquired Cleveland, Ohio-based Lawrence Binding Systems. Founder Bill Lawrence will remain as an advisor for the successful long-term transition and integration of the company into Spiral Binding. He plans to retire after the transition period is completed.

“Spiral proved to be a perfect match for my short- and long-term goals,” Lawrence said. “They are the largest family-owned business in our industry and extremely customer-focused.” Spiral President Robert Roth added: “I have known Bill for a long time, and am very excited to come to an agreement that will not only allow Lawrence Binding Systems customers to continue receiving the products and service they are accustomed to, but also add many more products that will help them grow their businesses.”
