Phoseon Donates UV LED Curing System to Sonoco Institute

Phoseon Technology, a Hillsboro, Oregon-based provider of UV LED industrial curing solutions, has donated LED curing systems to Clemson University’s Sonoco Institute of Packaging Design and Graphics in Clemson, South Carolina.

In partnership with OMET Americas, Phoseon donated FireJet™ FJ605 light sources with Flex Tower and mounting brackets, installed in OMET’s Varyflex narrow-web press. This press is housed in the Sunoco Institute’s Advanced Print Lab.

The FJ605 is designed for high performance and digital interface capabilities for tight process control and high quality printing results. The light source is equipped with Phoseon’s patented TargetCure™ and WhisperCure™ technologies, providing stable, consistent and precise UV output, along with a quiet operating level while maintaining a high UV output.
