The Association for PRINT Technologies (APTech), Reston, Virginia, is seeking nominations of qualified individuals to serve on its board of directors. Members of the board represent APTech and are advocates for its mission and activities, with responsibilities for governance and leadership of the organization’s programs and activities. The APTech Board comprises of representatives from all aspects of the print industry value chain, including manufacturers, suppliers and print service providers.
Since opening up association membership to print service providers, and including printers on the board, print service providers have been integral in providing a 360-degree view of the state of the industry and in collaboration with the manufacturers and supplier board members, together they have helped charter the course for the future of the organization and the print industry.
Nominees for the board of directors must be employed by an APTech member organization. Candidates will be elected on the ballot to be distributed by August 18, 2019, with elections being held during the Annual Meeting of the Association to take place during PRINT®19 – APTech’s annual signature conference and exhibit to be held in Chicago at McCormick Place North from Oct. 3-5, 2019.

APTech Board Participation
Each board member must actively participate in and attend all scheduled board meetings, including two in-person meetings and several scheduled conference calls each year as an active member of the board and as a member of a committee or task force. Board terms are three years; board members may serve no more than two consecutive terms.
APTech’s Board Election Process
Members of the board of directors are elected at the Annual Meeting of the Association, to take place during PRINT®19 to be held in Chicago at McCormick Place North from October 3-5, 2019.
The Board Nominating Committee will carefully consider all nominations. All nominees will be contacted to confirm a willingness and ability to serve.
On or before August 18, 2019, sample ballots will be electronically delivered to members’ delegate representatives. Ballots will be provided to all members attending and representing an APTech member at the Annual Meeting of the Association.

How to Submit a Nomination
Persons interested in submitting their name for consideration must complete the online nomination form or download and complete a PDF of the form and submit it with the following information:
- Name, employer, title, and contact information
- Provide a brief statement as to why you think the individual you are nominating would make a good representative on the APTech board of directors.
- If available, you may provide a URL to the individual’s LinkedIn page.
- Nominations must be received no later than July 26, 2019, to be accepted and can be submitted through the online portal.
- An acknowledgement receipt will be provided to each nominee upon submission of his or her nomination.
