Leary’s CleanStart module simplifies the valve’s maintenance and increases plant’s productivity. A nozzle cover is automatically activated when product is halted. This prevents the adhesive from drying on the tip, minimizes recurrent cleaning due to machine stops and improves operator safety. When carton production begins, the nozzle cover is removed and quick production can begin.
The unit’s Predictive Maintenance Intelligence allows users to receive information on when to perform maintenance, ensuring the highest levels of usability and unparalleled longevity of 1 billion cycles. The Sempre-i stores detailed cycle information that is easily accessible from the Monet operator screen. Alerts with customizable set points appear as pop-up windows, offering accurate and timely warnings. When used in conjunction with the CXU-110 Pump & GRU, which also uses Predictive Maintenance Intelligence, users can ensure the optimum overall effectiveness of all glue application components.
Operator safety also is ensured by the location of the optional valve purge button which is positioned on the cable, approx. 23 inches (60 cm) away from the gluer’s moving parts. Quickly and efficiently maintain valve performance, decreasing gluing start-up time.
