Miamisburg, Ohio-based Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems (Kongsberg PCS) has announced that Global Imaging Inc., distributor for wide format equipment and supplies headquartered in Louisville, Colorado, has become an authorized distributor of its market-leading range of digital finishing solutions for North America.

Heather Roden, sales director-Americas with Kongsberg PCS, said this new partnership will enable the companies to work together to boost availability of Kongsberg’s digital cutting tables throughout the US and Canada.

In addition, Kongsberg PCS has appointed Matt Thackray as vice president/general manager of its operations in the Americas.

Thackray will be based in the company’s Dallas office and will be responsible for the management of the commercial, service support and financial performance of the business across the US, Canada, Latin America and South America. He joins Kongsberg PCS from engraving, marking and cutting solutions manufacturer Gravotech, where he was general manager of the Americas.
