Baumer hhs Celebrates New Melters at FachPack 2025

Press release submitted on behalf of Baumer hhs

At this year’s FachPack (23 – 25 September 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany), Baumer hhs, Krefeld, Germany, will once again demonstrate its special expertise in adhesive application in all areas of packaging production and in end-of-line processing.

Highlights at the company’s stand in Hall 2 (Stand 533) include its latest solutions for hot melt applications. Take for instance Xmelt fusion, Baumer hhs’s new generation of melters, which celebrates its world premiere at FachPack. It combines maximum ease-of-use with an extremely high melt rate of up to 14 kg hot melt adhesive per hour – achieved with a uniquely low energy input of just 1.6 kW. The melters also display the quality and reliability for which equipment from Baumer hhs is known worldwide. And because the company designed the new melters in strict adherence to its holistic Rethink. Renew. Recycle. sustainability principles, they improve the resource-efficiency of both packaging products and manufacturing processes. With all of these advantages, the new Xmelt fusion melters meet the highest demands in packaging production and end-of-line processing.

The same is true of the PXH 1000 electric hot melt applicator, introduced by Baumer hhs earlier this year. As the world’s first electric hot melt applicator with the closing force of an electropneumatic unit, the PXH 1000 reaches an even higher level of quality in dispensing lines or dots of glue, and eliminates tailing almost entirely. In short, by honing the technology behind this applicator, Baumer hhs has once again taken achievable precision in hot melt application to a new level, living up to its reputation as an innovation leader in electric adhesive application systems. In the tobacco industry, which places very high demands on quality and precision, the PXH 1000 has rapidly become the established standard for gluing flip tops and glue flaps on cigarette boxes, adding tax stamps and onserts, and gluing foil linings.

Baumer hhs will also be exhibiting its recently launched hot melt hoses with metal core in Nuremberg.

Martin Kotecki, Packaging Business Development Manager at Baumer hhs: “We invite our customers and interested trade fair attendees to visit our stand at FachPack and talk with our experts about our latest solutions for gluing and quality assurance in packaging applications of all kinds.”

Even the “Basic” model in the new line of Xmelt fusion melters from Baumer hhs has an extremely high melt rate of up to 14 kg hot melt adhesive per hour with a uniquely low energy input of just 1.6 kW. It can be combined with an Xfeed system that keeps it continuously supplied with hot melt adhesive.
