Diamond Packaging Wins Seven Awards in 2026 Neographics Masterpieces in Print Competition

Press release submitted on behalf of Diamond Packaging

Diamond Packaging today announced that it won seven awards in the 2026 Neographics Masterpieces in Print Competition, one of the the largest and most prestigious regional printing competitions in the nation. Awards were presented during the Print & Graphic Communications Association’s (PGCA) 2026 Neographics Awards Gala held on May 14, 2026, in Philadelphia, PA.

The program recognizes outstanding achievement in printing, packaging, design, converting, and publishing, honoring projects that demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship, technical execution, and overall effectiveness. Entries are judged by industry professionals and represent some of the finest work produced throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Diamond won Best of Category and Franklin Award for Excellence honors in the “Calendars” category for its 2026 10 th Anniversary Grandfather Clock Calendar.

The commemorative calendar combines the classic charm that made its award-winning 2016 design so beloved, with fresh updates that reflect Diamond’s evolution over the past 10 years. It proudly showcases the craftsmanship and attention to detail that have become the company’s hallmarks, while celebrating the partnerships, innovations, and sustainable practices that continue to shape its journey.

The calendars were converted utilizing Clearwater ReMagine 30% PCW paperboard, cold foiled, and offset printed with four color process inks, supplied by Ink Systems, in-line with UV matte, UV gloss, and reticulated specialty UV coating.

Tightly-registered coatings were used to enhance the design and highlight the individual calendar components. UV matte varnish was used throughout the design. UV gloss coating was used on all foiled areas. Reticulated specialty coating, supplied by ACTEGA, was applied to the dark areas behind the weights and pendulum.

Silver cold foil, supplied by Kurz, delivers shimmering metallic effects on all of the clock faces, weights, and pendulum. The components were cold foiled and offset printed with semi-transparent inks to create stunning shades of gold and bronze.

Multi-level embossing and debossing – developed in collaboration with Universal Engraving – was tastefully applied to the calendar to add depth and realism. Many of the grandfather clock components were embossed, including the wood frame, door, clock faces, weights, and pendulum. The Diamond Packaging text and year were debossed to create more depth.

The calendar pages were converted utilizing Domtar Cougar Smooth 80# Text paper and offset printed with four color process inks and UV matte coating. The watermarks of the weights and pendulum setting add realism.

The recyclable shipper was converted utilizing Clearwater Candesce SBS paperboard laminated to E-flute corrugated fiberboard, and offset printed with four color process inks, in-line with aqueous gloss coating. The structural design replicates the wooden shipping crates used to transport grandfather clocks.

Diamond won Best of Category and Franklin Award for Excellence honors in the “Packaging – Cartonboard” category for Iovate’s Hydroxycut Hardcore Liquid Heat packaging.

The cartons were converted utilizing Clearwater Candesce paperboard, cold foiled, and offset printed with four color process inks and one PMS ink, in-line with UV high gloss coating and UV matte coating.

The cold foil and highly dimensional embossed logo add distinction to the packaging while reinforcing Hydroxycut’s premium brand image. The interplay of gloss and matte coatings creates a visually compelling effect that enhances shelf appeal.

Diamond won a Franklin Award for Excellence in the “Packaging – Cartonboard” category for Interparfums’ Oscar de la Renta Bella Soleil packaging.

The cartons were converted utilizing FSC-certified Billerud CrownBoard Prestige paperboard, cold foiled, and offset printed with four color process and one PMS ink, in-line with UV satin and UV gloss spot coating.

The stained cold foil and textured embossed band encircling the carton lend an air of distinction to the packaging, reinforcing Oscar de la Renta’s prestige positioning. Multi-level embossed florals across the carton surface create a dimensional, sculptural effect that commands attention.

Diamond won a Franklin Award for Excellence in the “Packaging – Cartonboard” category for Ole Henriksen’s Plumping Peptide Pair packaging.

The cartons were converted utilizing FSC-certified Clearwater Candesce SBS paperboard, and offset printed with four color process and three PMS inks, in-line with UV matte and UV gloss spot coating.

The unique gusseted top carton incorporates slit lock top and bottom closures. This style has a finished look and enables considerable latitude in graphic design.

Diamond won a Franklin Award for Excellence in the “Packaging – Cartonboard” category for StriVectin’s Glow and Protect packaging.

The cartons were converted utilizing FSC-certified Billerud CrownBoard Prestige paperboard, cold foiled, and offset printed with four color process inks and two PMS inks, in-line with UV high gloss coating, UV matte coating, and soft touch coating.

Overprinting PMS colors over silver cold foil differentiates the collection, adds distinction, and reinforces StriVectin as a prestige skincare brand.

All of Diamond’s entries were produced with more sustainable converting methods and manufactured from recyclable paperboard using 100% wind energy in a Carbon Neutral (Scope 1 and Scope 2), Zero Waste to Landfill facility, reflecting Diamond’s commitment to combining innovation and visual excellence with environmental responsibility.
