Webinar: Recycling of Fiber-Based Materials with Transfer Metallic Decoration

Speaker: Jeff Peterson, Executive Director, Foil & Specialty Effects Association

        Cost: Free

        Date: August 21, 2024

        Time: 10:00 a.m. Central Time

The Foil & Specialty Effects Association (FSEA) acknowledges the existence of misconceptions on sustainability issues as they pertain to the recyclability of metallic decorated paper and board. The association has been proactive in working to provide clear, supported evidence that transfer metallic decoration (hot foil, cold foil and digital foil transfer processes, as well as transfer metallization of board or paper) is recyclable.

Join Jeff Peterson as he discusses the current tools and studies available through FSEA to help FSEA members and others educate Government Entities, Environmental Agencies, Print Service Providers (PSPs), Converters/OEMs, Brand Owners and others on the functional and sustainable benefits of metallic decorating technologies.

The webinar will include the introduction of a new study recently released by FSEA that helps confirm that transfer metallic decorated fiber-based materials are being recycled by Materials Recovery Facilities (MRFs) throughout the US and North America.

Space will be limited so register today!
