FSEA to Present at GRAPH EXPO and PACK EXPO
The FSEA is pleased to offer educational opportunities at the upcoming GRAPH EXPO and PACK EXPO tradeshows. ABC’s of Print Enhancements: How to Deliver High Value & Rockin’ ROI will be offered at GRAPH EXPO on Sept. 15 at 10:30 a.m. This seminar will offer attendees an educational experience on how high-visibility enhancements can create brand identity, shelf presence and added value to all types of printed materials. This will include vivid samples, case studies and information on two specific white papers recently conducted by the Sonoco Institute of Packaging Design and Graphics at Clemson University (in conjunction with FSEA) that provides conclusive evidence on the impact of high-visibility enhancements.
In addition, FSEA will sponsor a free seminar from 10-11:30 a.m. Sept. 29 during PACK EXPO in Las Vegas. The panel discussion, entitled “The Value of Print Enhancements: How to Deliver High Value and Rockin’ ROI,” will take place in Room N232 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The panel, moderated by FSEA Executive Director Jeff Peterson, will include Scott Richey, Futura Marketing, who spent over 20 years in private brand marketing at Associated Wholesale Grocers; Dr. Andrew Hurley, professor at the Clemson University Sonoco Institute of Packaging Design and Graphics; and David Hutchison, BrightMARKS, LLC, a leading expert in print finishing/decorating techniques for over 30 years.
Scott Richey has seen firsthand the power of utilizing high-visibility enhancements and will explain how they fit into the strategy for the brand. Dr. Andrew Hurley will discuss the results from two recent studies (developed in conjunction with the FSEA), which observe the effects of high-visibility enhancements on consumer buying. David Hutchison will provide an introduction to the latest high-visibility print enhancement techniques, including metallic foils and specialty UV coatings, and will discuss the latest technologies in applying those techniques.
